The House System in HTYC aims to encourage a vertical relationship among students. Each house consists of students from different levels. Moreover, teachers are assigned to four houses as members. Through these four houses, a closer relationship between junior form and senior form students is built up. The House System also provides leadership enrichment opportunities for senior form students who serve as house captains. Students’ sense of belonging and ownership are also established and strengthened.
