Spiritual development involves the development of insights, principles, beliefs, attitudes and values which guide and motivate us. It is characterized by reflection, attributing meaning to experience as well as valuing a non-material dimension to life. Students are guided to search for the meaning and purpose of life, to recognize and value the worth of each individual, and to build up relationships with others in a positive way.
As a Christian school, the foundation of the spiritual education of HTYC is based on the teachings of the Bible. The grace of salvation in God through Jesus Christ is proclaimed. The biblical views on various life issues are shared. The character development of students is nourished through the precious insights of the Bible.
