The International Biology Olympiad - HK Contest is co-organised by the Education Bureau and the Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education (HKAGE) to identify students gifted in biology and prepare them to participate in the International Biology Olympiad (IBO). 

Eight S5 and S6 students participated in the International Biology Olympiad – Hong Kong Contest 2023 on 11 November 2023 (Saturday). This highly competitive event attracted over 1100 participants from more than 150 different schools in Hong Kong. Our students, 6B Chen Yunyang won the championship and gold award, and 6D Mak Yu Sze got the bronze award, and our school won one of the “Best Schools Awards”.
