Event Highlights
The Alumni Association's events, including the lively poon choi banquet and engaging Alumni Homecoming Day, celebrated Hioecians’ bonds and shared memories. Meanwhile, publicity materials showcased the inspiring journeys of distinguished alumni, highlighting their achievements and the enduring impact of their education at HTYC.
The aroma of the feast and the love for HTYC filled the air in Love Returning Home to HTYC – Poon Choi Banquet 2025.
The reunion of participants, including past teachers who provided valuable services, marked a meaningful beginning to the year 2025. This has been the second banquet since the pandemic lockdown.
While Hioecians leave HTYC and enter new phases of life, their contributions to the school are never forgotten and continue to inspire new generations of Hioecians.
Thanks to the kindness of Ms LUI San Man, Simmy, our School Supervisor and Chairperson, the Alumni Association was sponsored to hold a poon choi banquet in 2024 and 2025.
Not only did adults enjoy this celebratory occasion on the newly renovated campus, but the children of the alumni also had great fun on the inflatable trampoline castle.
The banquets allowed Hioecians to come together to share school anecdotes alongside this wall displaying the legacy of love in the form of monetary donations in support of HTYC’s development.
Youthful teachers and alumni blended in during the poon choi banquets, savouring not only good food, but also irreplaceable memories once shared and about to create.
The year 2024 began momentously on January 6, when alumni and former teachers, who had dedicated over 30 years of valuable service, came home to HTYC.
Not only did alumni build bonds in HTYC, but they also learned to love and extend love to their families. Participants were thrilled to introduce new members of their families!
Interviews with distinguished alumni were conducted after their graduation, aiming to inspire current students, strengthen alumni connections, and showcase the positive impact of our alumni within the community.
