1 Whole School Reading Award Scheme
To cultivate students' self-directed reading habits, we practice a whole-school reading scheme. Students keep their reading records and reflections in Reading Log Books. There is a morning reading session to help develop students' interest in reading. On Day C, different classes take turns to share their recommended books in the morning assembly.
2 Book Fair
A wide variety of Chinese and English fiction, non-fiction, supplementary exercise books, and stationery was on display, providing plenty of choices at the exhibition booths. The fair aimed not only to spark students' interest in reading but also to nurture a good reading habit.
3 Book Talk
Every year's book talk, writers will be invited to our school to share writing and reading tips, as well as interesting experiences in literary writing. Book talks can turn a reader onto a title they wouldn't have otherwise considered through the writers' personal sharing and literary works.
4 Off-campus reading competition
With the objective of promoting Chinese and English reading, cultivating reading habits and enhancing language proficiency of the students.
