The English Department of HTYC envisions fostering bilingual and tri-literate students with strong critical thinking and communication skills. English Week - Advertisement Challenge:

Students unleash their creativity and language skills by designing captivating advertisements, promoting teamwork and effective communication in a fun, competitive environment.

Drama Club:

A platform for students to explore storytelling, acting, and stage performance, enhancing their confidence and English proficiency through engaging drama productions.

Debate Team:

Students sharpen their critical thinking, research, and persuasive skills by participating in local and inter-school debate competitions conducted in English.

Debate Activities:

English Week - Singing Competition:

English Activities Organising Committee (EAOC):

EAOC empowers students to lead and organise creative, English-based activities, promoting authentic language use and leadership development.

Life-wide Learning Activities - Meet and Greet with the NET:

Casual conversations and interactive sessions with the Native English Teacher immerse students in natural English communication.

English Society:
