30-06-2026Successful Conclusion of HTYC STEAM Funfair 2026: Fostering Innovation and Inclusivity
On 30 June 2026, our school successfully hosted its annual flagship event, the STEAM Funfair 2026. This year, we were honored to welcome over 500 Primary 5 students, along with their teachers, from 10 guest primary schools across the district. The campus was vibrant with the spirit of scientific inquiry, collaboration, and technological creativity.
The event featured two massive experiential zones designed and managed entirely by our secondary students:
Secondary 2 STEAM Game Booths (2/F): Our S2 classes, together with the Mathematics Society, Science Society, and Robotics Team, established 34 interactive game booths. These booths creatively gamified complex scientific and mathematical concepts, challenging our young visitors with hands-on puzzles and robotics operations.
Secondary 3 Project-Based Learning (PBL) Showcase (G/F): Our S3 students presented 20 brilliant innovative exhibitions. Centered around the meaningful and empathetic theme of "Caring for the Disabled in Society," students utilized their knowledge in design and technology to present real-world engineering solutions and prototypes aimed at improving accessibility and building a more socially inclusive community.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the principal, teachers, and students of all participating primary schools for their enthusiastic support. We would also like to commend our dedicated teachers, staff, and student helpers whose meticulous coordination ensured the seamless execution and smooth logistics of this large-scale event.
Through platforms like the STEAM Funfair, our school remains committed to nurturing future-ready innovators who possess not only exceptional technical literacy but also a deep sense of social responsibility.

2026年度 STEAM Funfair 圓滿落幕：以此載道，點燃創科與人文關懷之火
本校年度盛事 —— STEAM Funfair 2026 已於2026年6月30日圓滿舉行。當日校園極具朝氣，我們非常榮幸能夠招待來自區內 10 所小學、合共超過 500 多位高小師生蒞臨參與。一眾小學師生與本校師生攜手共創了一個充滿科學探究、團隊協作及科技創意的學術交流平台。
本年度的活動亮點分佈於兩個主要展區，全由本校中二及中三同學親自設計與講解：
中二級 STEAM 攤位遊戲展示（二樓展區）： 由中二各班、數學學會、科學學會及機器人隊共同策劃，共設有 34 個互動遊戲攤位。同學將繁複的科學與數學原理融入富趣味性的關卡中，藉由動手操作和機器人體驗，激發小學生的創科思維。
中三級 PBL 專題研習展示（地下展區）： 中三同學設置了 20 個精采的專題研習展位。今年活動特意以「關愛社會殘疾人士」為研習主題，同學們巧妙結合科學技術與同理心，向外賓展示一系列旨在提升社區無障礙體驗、推動社會共融的創意解難方案及親手製作的設備初型。
本校衷心感謝各參與小學師生的熱臨與鼎力支持。同時，亦高度讚揚全體教職員、工友及學生工作人員的無私付出，全賴大家高效的物流執行力與緊密協作，方能令這項大型活動的人流管制及分流等運作顯得井然有序。
透過舉辦 STEAM Funfair，本校將繼續致力培育具備科技素養、同時心繫社會弱勢、兼具人文關懷的新一代創科棟樑。
